Safeguarding the appearance and integrity of new glass, other vitreous surfaces and even textiles against the elements, pollution and deliberate or accidental damage is no longer an intractable problem.

Harnessing the power of nanotechnology research and development, the Signo range of products deliver the ultimate performance through an ability to develop strong but inert chemical bonds with the underlying substrate – effectively becoming an integral part of the surface.

Once applied, a protective layer less than 100-nm thick (80,000 times thinner than a human hair) bonds permanently with the substrate to leave a smooth, anti-stain, non-discolouring surface layer. The coatings are crystal clear, UV stable, chemically inert and extremely durable, having both hydrophobic and oleophobic capabilities. They will not peel or flake and are unaffected by extremes of temperatures from –20°C to +350°C.
